TPF Consultores projects and innovation recognised in 2026

TPF Consultores once again sees the work of its teams recognised, with its inclusion among the finalists of the ITA Tunnelling Awards 2026 and the BIM Excellence Award 2026, distinctions that recognise excellence in engineering projects and construction works, innovation and the application of BIM methodologies.

At international level, two construction projects involving TPF Consultores are among the finalists of the ITA Tunnelling Awards 2026:

• in the “Projects €100–500 Million” category, the Lisbon Drainage Master Plan construction project has been nominated, for which TPF Consultores is responsible for construction supervision;
• in the “Projects up to €100 Million” category, Lot 1 (Rato–Santos) and Lot 2 (Santos–Cais do Sodré) of the Lisbon Metro Circular Line Extension have been nominated, for which TPF Consultores carried out the design review.

The ITA Tunnelling Awards 2026 will take place from 4 to 6 November 2026 in Lisbon, as part of the conference marking the 20th anniversary of the CPT – Portuguese Tunnelling and Underground Space Committee.

TPF Consultores is also a finalist in the BIM Excellence Award 2026, in the “Built Environment Management” category, with the Information Management Platform (PGI), developed by the Center for Innovation and Information and Communication Technologies.

The platform was created to support integrated information management, promoting greater organisation, accessibility and efficiency in the use of data throughout projects. This nomination recognises the team’s work in applying digital solutions and BIM methodologies to the management of the built environment.

The winners of the BIM Excellence Award 2026 will be announced on 17 November, during openBIM DAY’26, at LNEC in Lisbon.

These nominations recognise the work carried out by the #TPFTeam, both through its involvement in highly relevant and technically complex construction projects and through innovation and digital transformation applied to engineering.
