Lumiares’ Water Supply System and WTP

Lumiares’ Water Supply Subsystem, which includes the Water Supply System and the WTP, was designed to supply the municipality of Armamar and some localities in the municipality of Tarouca, being also planned to the future supply to three villages in the municipality of Lamego.

This project included the design of:

• Lumiares’ Water Treatment Plant;
• 37 km of pipelines (DN 200 mm to DN 63 mm);
• 1 Pumping Station;
• 1 Regulating Reservoir and a Pumping Station for the Loading Chamber;
• The expansion and rehabilitation of Armamar Reservoir (350 m³);
• 17 Delivery Points (supply of existing reservoirs).
