Defining Policies and Models for Rural Industrialization of Angola

The study tried to design the potential of Angola rural agricultural production to satisfy the food needs of the Angolan consumers, using economic and reliable manufacturing and preservation practices with regard to food products, benefiting from it farmers and, consequently, the economy of Angola, as it contributes to the replacement of imports, as well as a desirable and possible food self-sufficiency.

The study approach focused on the possibility of producer’s organization, in order to ensure the primary manufacturing and preservation of their products, which would allow the reduction of its efforts and increase the profitability, both by the agricultural production enhancement and by the minimization of losses in storage.

Assignment

The works included the following activities:

  • Definition of strategies to implement the project;
  • Funding policies;
  • Corporatization of rural economy transformation;
  • Typifying ruralized processing facilities.
