The EIS included the characterization of the reference situation in order to identify and limit sensitive areas of ecological and archaeological point of view/architectural, that could condition the execution of various works, access paths, location of the shipyard, stains, etc.; the identification, prediction and evaluation of positive and negative impacts during the construction, operation and maintenance of the recovery phases, and after its abandonment and decommissioning; and the definition of a set of measures to minimize the negative impacts generated by the construction and operation of the exploitation
The hydraulic exploitation will allow serving an irrigation system with water pressure distribution, benefiting an area of 470 ha. The dam has a crest with 323 m in length and a maximum height of 23 m. The flooded area is 68 ha, which corresponds to a volume of water stored of 4.9 hm3.
