Algiers Metro - Line 1 - "Place Emir Abdelkader / Place des Martyrs"

This project includes the extension of Line 1 of the Algiers Metro to the North, from Emir Abdelkader Square to Martyrs Square, with a total development of 1750 m.
This extension runs through the city center, in the historic area, where Casbah is located.

The project included:

• A Tunnel (NATM method and 75 m2 section), with a development of 1450 m;
• The "Place des Martyrs" Station, with 144 m long and sections 23 m and 18.5 m wide;
• The "Ali Boumendjel" Station, 156 m long and 18.5 m wide;
• 3 Ventilation Shafts.
