The course of Environmental and On-site Safety Control lasted 3 days, in a total of 22 hours and was attended by construction technicians, as well as students of Civil Engineering and Environment courses.

Considering the increasing concerns in Angola in the areas of Safety and Environment, this training action presented the work developed under this scope, based on the strategy of implementing the legal diplomas and the requirements defined by Clients.

At the end of the training, the trainees were able to integrate teams of environmental and safety monitoring, as well as to control projects related to the construction area.

Assignment

The course was structured in 3 modules:

  • Module I: Presentation of the Seminar. Environment and Safety basics. Terms and definitions. Angola Legislation and regulations in the area of Safety and Environment. Legislation of other countries. Activity planning. The importance of training.
  • Module II - Environmental Control in Construction. On-Site Safety Control. Control Methods.
  • Module III - Presentation and discussion of real cases in Angola. Visit of 2 work sites in Luanda area. The vision of the Client. Conclusion: on-site verification. Debate / conclusions.
