Customs Posts of Santa Clara and Katwitwi

The project designed for the border operational areas has the following characteristics:

Santa Clara Customs Post, in Cunene Province: control buildings, warehouses, support buildings, technical buildings, auditorium, area for inspection of vehicles with scanner, parking areas for light, heavy and container vehicles, with the following gross construction areas:

• Platform: around 640 000 m²;
• Buildings: 16 930 m²;
• Earthworks: 2 649 800 m³;
• Streets: 16 374 m²;
• Paved Area: 590 000 m²

Katwitwi Customs Post, in Cuando Cubango Province: control buildings; warehouses; support buildings; technical buildings; auditorium; area for inspection of vehicles with scanner, Parking areas for light, heavy and container vehicles, with the following gross construction areas:

• Platform: around 240 000 m²;
• Buildings: 16 930 m²;
• Earthworks: 370 800 m³;
• Streets: 6 506 m²;
• Paved Area: 204 820 m²

The studies included: Geological-Geotechnical Studies, General Earthworks (Platforms, Road Network and Parking Areas), Exterior Infrastructure, Water and Sewage Networks, Architecture, Structures, Electrical and Mechanical Installations, Telecommunications and Security.
