The consultancy was developed in two phases:
The first comprised the feasibility study for storm water drainage in the northeastern part of the city of Maputo and respective engineering projects.
The second included the Construction Supervision of the rehabilitation works for the storm water drainage system.
The scope of the work included the following activities:
- Comparative analysis of alternative technical solutions for the storm water drainage system in the north of Maputo (between Av. Júlio Nyerere and Costa);
- Elaboration of the drainage final design for the area included in the study;
- Preparation of the Assessment and Environmental Management Plan for Environmental Impact;
- Supervision of the construction works of the drainage system rehabilitation, including analysis and design review, tests and commissioning.
