Restructuring and Upgrading of the following 5 Border Posts:

The deployment strategy of these important complexes involved the definition of important road axes that substantiate the flow of entry into Angola from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The restructuring and upgrading of the 5 Border Posts cover a variable deployment area, which includes parking areas for light, heavy and container vehicles, road network and the several main and complementary buildings, namely: pedestrian control building, goods warehouse, administrative building, fire station with border guards building, staff accommodation, sanitary control building, offices and verification warehouse, scanner building, gatehouses, cafeteria, veterinary station and medical station.

The provision of services included: the survey of existing urban infrastructure, topographical survey, Geological-Geotechnical Study, Environmental Studies, preparation of the Urban Plan and Architectural Designs in the phases of Preliminary Design and Detailed Design, including:

-  General Infrastructure: Road Network, Earthworks, Paving, Drainage, Signalling and Safety Equipment, Landscaping, Water and Fire Fighting Supply Network, Sanitation Network, Electrical Distribution Network, Telecommunications and Security Network.

-  Buildings: Architecture, Foundations and Structures, Water Supply Networks, Domestic Wastewater and Stormwater Drainage Network, and Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Access Control and Security Installations.
