The work comprised:
Dualling of the West Line between 18.270 and 20.300 km, involving earthworks, drainage, retaining walls, track (3 400 m and 8 switches) and catenary (94 poles and 8 gantries);
Viaduct variant to the Sintra Line, 169 m long and with 7 spans (2 of 17 m and 5 of 27 m). In addition to the civil engineering work inherent in the construction of the viaduct, track (1 680 m) and catenary (2 450 m) work was also carried out.
