Track Doubling - Annaba-Ramdane Djamel Railway Line

The work consists of the duplication of the railway, between Annaba and Ramdane Djamel, in an extension of about 92 km, as well as the renovation of the existing facilities, including:

• 4 stations;
• 19 Engineering Structures (5 Road Bridges and 14 Railway Bridges);
• 2 Tunnels (Ras el Ma, 545 m and Gessaba, 1 544 m, both with a 85 m² cross-section, being NATM the construction method selected);
• 129,210 m of track with assembly of UIC54 rails, 73 track-side equipment, 289,202 m³ of ballast and 216,428 railway sleepers;
• 89 Track-side equipment;
• 1,214,090 m³ of excavations;
• 136,580 m³ of track shifting;
• 43,940 m³ of excavations in rocky terrains;
• 5,706,973 m³ of earthmoving.
