Modernization of Gdynia Glówna Osobowa Railway Station - Phase I

The modernization of Gdynia Glówna Osobowa Station, Phase I, is part of the project to modernize the E65 Railway Line, Section Warsaw – Gdynia , Phase II.

The main works included:

• Modernization of about 5,80 km of track, together with the modernization of infrastructures and drainage system;
• Construction of 51 overpasses, together with the infrastructures and drainage system;
• Reconstruction of about 10,8 km of electric traction;
• Construction/Reconstruction of the automatic system for the operation of trains;
• Reconstruction of other components of the railway infrastructure, aiming to eliminate collisions and track obstructions.

The project was implemented in accordance with the procedures of the Red Book (FIDIC).
