The Plan covering a surface of 5,511 km2 was conducted with the aim of the definition of a tool for management of water resources for the conservation and sustainable use in a water resource, focusing on the following themes: Hydrology; Register of Hydraulic and Sanitation Infrastructure; Environment; Socioeconomics; Regulatory and Institutional System; Economic Analysis, Financial and Tax.
These themes were developed in several stages, which are: (1) Analysis and Diagnosis of the Reference Situation, (2) Definition of objectives, (3) Strategies, Measures and Actions, (4) Program of Implementation Plan and Actions complementary.
