The Rural Land Management Plan refers to the municipality of Chicomba, including the communes of Quê and Cutenda, occupying a total area of 207 km2 4, is inhabitedby about 110,000 people.

Agriculture, by far the main economic activity of the region, presents, along with livestock, the activity with the greatest socio-economic potential of the municipality.

The service had as main objective the rational and sustainable management of existing land resources, taking into account the economic policies, of the land, the environmentand nature conservation, education, culture, social welfare and quality of life.
