Rural Land Management Plan for Jamba and Dongo Communes

Hosted by the Office of Research and Planning of the Provincial Government of Huila, the Rural Land Management Plan refers to Dongo and Jamba Communities, that occupying an area of about 2 780 km2 and 4650 km2, are inhabited by about 72000 and 34000 people respectively.
The region, in addition to a high potential for agriculture and livestock, hasan abundance of forest resources, landscape and minerals, the latter with greater potential economic and strategic interest to the municipality.
The service's main objective was the rational and sustainable management of existing land resources, taking into account the economic political of land, environment and nature conservation, education, culture, welfare and quality of life.
In compliance with the objectives, the work developed in three phases:

  • Phase 1 – Characterization and Diagnosis
  • Phase 2 – Preliminary Program
  • Phase 3 – Rural Land Use Plans
