The Plan was conducted with the aim of the definition of a tool for management of water resources for the conservation and sustainable use in a water resource focusing on the following themes:
Water Protection and Pollution Control, Demand Management and Supply, Nature Protection and Control of Hydrological Extreme Situations, Spatial Planning and Water Domain, Regulatory Framework, Institutional Framework, Economic and Financial Framework and Populations Participation.
Assignment
These themes were developed in several stages, which are:
(1) Analysis and Diagnosis of the Reference Situation;
(2) Definition of objectives;
(3) Strategies, Measures and Actions;
(4) Program of Implementation Plan and Actions.
