Road link between Raposeira do Serrado and Ponta do Pargo. With a total length of 5719 meters, the route includes the construction of 6 bridges, 5 roundabouts and 4 tunnels.
The first phase included the excavation, the temporary and definitive lining of the tunnels, as well as the earthworks of the roundabouts. Three hydraulic passages were also executed. These passages have a length of 86 (Lombo), 119 (Mestre) and 552 meters (Faias), with maximum sections of 2x2, 2.5x2.5 and 4x4 meters, respectively.
The road alignment presents in the tunnels a cross-section with two traffic lanes with a total width of seven meters and two sidewalks with one meter each.
The tunnels (1 to 4) have extensions of 135, 1218, 427 and 409 respectively. The emergency gallery of tunnel 2 has 332 meters.
This work began in 2006 and was suspended in 2009. It was resumed in April 2018 and concluded in 2021.
