Western Pier of the Port of Peniche

The work consisted in the rehabilitation of the western pier of the port of Peniche and contemplated essentially the following works to strengthen and re-profiling, in order to close the existing gaps in the protective mantle, replace the fractured blocks, and reset the side of Coronation:

• Reinforcement and re-profiling of existing protection in the extracts of the pier, consisting of tetrapods of 160 kN;
• Reinforcementand re-profiling of the mantle of protection on rooting, and soffit of the pierhead, formed by natural blocks of rock. 

The team involved included besides the Supervisory Team, consisting of the Chief Engineer Supervision, Environmental Engineer, Head of Quality, Safety Coordinator and in Charge of Supervision a Top-Team Hydrographic and a Diving Team.
