Hydraulic Circuit of Pedrogão

The project of the Hydraulic Circuit of Pedrogão benefits of a total area of 24,000 ha of which 5180 ha were projected, encompassing:

• Main Pumping Station of Pedrogão (H = 78 m, Q = 12.55 m3 / s) and Conduct Pumping (1800 m long, DN2500);
• Pedrogão reservoir, with a volume of 145 dam3;
• Gravity Adduction Circuit, with 28 km, includes a section on canal with 1.75 km and conduct in several sections with different diameters (DN400 to DN2500), maximum flow rate of 11.45 m3 / s;
• Dam of San Pedro, reservoir of 10 hm3 and dam height of 24 m;
• Pumping Station-of Selmes EE2 with two levels (EE2.1 H m = 70, Q = 0.55 m3 / s; EE2.2 H m = 90, Q = 1.36 m3 / s);
• Selmes reservoir with a storage volume of 25 dam3;
• Pedrogão pumping station 3 (H = 80.9 m, Q = 12,50 m3 / s);
• Pedrogão Pumping Station 1 (H = 116.5 m, Q = 0.11 m3 / s);
• Network Secondary Irrigation;
• Cleaning and reprofiling 6.4 km of watercourses;
• Construction and rehabilitation of 13.39 kilometers of agricultural roads;
• Remote Management System, Automation and Monitoring
