Rehabilitation of Quipungo's Irrigated Perimeter

The Base Project covered 2 stages: Diagnosis of the Situation and Base and Alternative Solutions.

The intervention aims to operationalize an irrigated perimeter for about 800 ha and includes:

• Rehabilitation of Quipungo dam and hydraulic elements;
• Regularization of water line with flow control weir;
• Implementation of the Secondary Irrigation Network, Pumping System and Reservoir for flows regularization;
• Definition of Pressure Irrigation Systems;
• Road network and
• Support drainage network.

The Support and Management Structures were also defined, namely the headquarters of the Management Entity, housing, workshops, warehouses, silos and the cold system.
