The IC9 is part of the Litoral Oeste concession and corresponds to a total investment of EUR 622 million, with a total length of 110 km (construction / operation of 85 km + operation of 25 km), plus 2 km of widening.
The section under study, with about 22 km, establishes the connection between the EN242 (Nazaré), Alcobaça and the EN1, east of Aljubarrota, including connections to the existing road network, through five junctions: Nazaré Roundabout, Valado dos Frades Junction, Maiorga Junction, Aljubarrota Junction and Junction with the EN1.
