Tapada Photovoltaic Plant
Tapada Photovoltaic Plant

Tapada Photovoltaic Plant is located in Beja district, at Moura municipality, and has a power of 14 MW, with an estimated annual average electricity production of 23,3 GWh, with the transformation of solar energy into electricity, made on photovoltaic panels.

The power station is made up of 52831 PV modules installed in 67 lines, 7 inverters / transformers and 1 Switching Station, from which comes a 30 kV aerial power line with 4 km extension that connects to Amareleja Substation.

Environmental studies included:

  • Characterization of the reference situation in order to identify and limit archaeological and ecological sensitive areas, which could condition the establishment of the photovoltaic power station;
  • Identification, forecast and assessment of potential impacts, positive or negative, arising from the implementation of the photovoltaic power station, immediate or long term, during the construction, exploration and decommissioning phases;
  • Definition of a set of measures capable of minimizing the identified potential negative impacts.
