The BRT is a public transport that has been gaining wide expression in urban environments for its high environmental performance (electric or hydrogen), similar to a metro. This project is expected to be concluded until the end of 2024, representing an overall investment of 66 million euros, from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). The services includes:

- Construction of a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) line with 4,2 km in Boavista – Império Section

- 7 track-centered stations planned for Boavista – Império Section

- Construction of a BRT line with 3.95 km in the connection to Anémona roundabout

- 5 track-centered stations planned for the connection to Anémona roundabout

- Reconfiguration of some surrounding roads regarding layout, directions, signaling and traffic lights as well as some drainage and watersupply infrastructures

- Construction of a green hydrogen production plant and a photovoltaic plant for energy production
