The works, intended to allow the water supply of the northern area of Porto City, included:
- Installation of water supply ducts in DCI, from Águas do Cávado water supply system;
- Installation of parallel piping in PVC DN 90, for communication cables: DN200: 8 250 m and DN600: 38 750 m;
- Construction of 4 Pumping Stations, in reinforced concrete, and installation of the respective electromechanical equipment, instrumentation and control equipment;
- Construction of 7 reservoirs in reinforced concrete and respective control and measurement equipment.
