Expressway to the Port of Funchal

The layoutselected for the expressway connecting to the Port of Funchal with an extensionof 1.446 m, starts in the roundabout of the Funchal Port and ends at theintersection with Caminho do Pilar.

The layoutstarts with the Tunnel of Pontinha, a bidirectional tunnel with 10.50 m widthand 670 m long.

The mainworks are:

• Overhead passage of Caminho das Virtudes;
• Pedestrian overhead passage;
